Workspace Group, the London-listed flexible office landlord, has appointed three new specialists to bolster its sustainability function, a move that on the surface reads as routine corporate housekeeping but in fact reflects one of the most significant structural shifts reshaping UK commercial property. The appointments, covering energy performance, ESG reporting and sustainable building operations, come as Workspace manages a portfolio of more than four million square feet across London and the South East, much of it comprising older, characterful buildings that require substantial retrofitting to meet tightening environmental standards.
