What we do

Our goal is to help readers understand not just what is happening in the market, but why it matters and what it means for the months ahead.

Our data

Our market figures come from official, primary sources: the UK House Price Index (HM Land Registry and the Office for National Statistics), Bank of England base-rate and lending data, and published industry research. Our house price pages cover more than 400 UK areas and are updated monthly, and our free calculators use the latest published rates.
